What was once just a small portion of a health system’s ability to engage with and provide access to its patient population, telehealth utilization expanded exponentially in scope during the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic. With both patients, physicians, and insurers becoming more accustomed to the ins and outs of the care pathway’s advantages, telehealth’s growing popularity is poised to lead more permanent changes in how the United States delivers care.

As this inflection point becomes more and more explicit it will be become increasingly important to stay as up-to-date as possible with the latest innovations in technology, best practices, and regulatory advancements, until telehealth or virtual health just becomes “health.”
