Addressing Burnout & Promoting Value through Clinician Advocacy

This webinar will provide an overview of how the Novant Health Center for Public Policy Solutions is driving solutions to reduce overregulation, combat clinician burnout, improve patient satisfaction, and enhance care quality through public policy. We will discuss the Center’s first white paper, a clinician-led research effort focused on "sick-well" visits -- when patients receive a separate bill for discussion of acute concerns or chronic conditions during their annual preventive wellness visits. We will also share more about our proposed solution aimed at addressing the root causes of this issue, a key example of how listening to the perspective of frontline clinicians and translating that perspective into public policy change is needed to truly deliver on the Quadruple Aim of value-based care.
