September 13, 2022 - ASCVD Virtual Discussion Forum Meeting Summary
The Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (ASCVD) Virtual Discussion Forum occurred on September 13, 2022. This 90-minute moderated session, in collaboration with Novartis and AMGEN, engaged Collaborative participating organizations in an interactive discussion focused on helping medical groups develop strategies to improve the management and treatment of patients with established ASCVD. The top four challenges or motivating needs in successful ASCVD care were discussed, including patient awareness and education, affordable treatment for high-risk patients, care coordination, and disparities in care.
