Medicaid Cuts
Medicaid is a joint federal-state program that covers and estimated 94 million people and is a major source of funding for the U.S. healthcare system. Medicaid is a critical program, particularly for low-income children and their families, low-income seniors, and low income individuals with disabilities. AMGA objects to any legislative proposals to cut Medicaid spending, not only to Medicaid recipients but also healthcare providers.
