Alexandria, VA – In recognition of its ongoing support and partnership, AMGA has named Sanofi as the recipient of its 2022 Distinguished Corporate Partner Award.

Each year, AMGA presents the Distinguished Corporate Partner Award to an industry partner that supports the team model of healthcare delivery and develops programs and services to help medical groups and health systems deliver high-quality, low-cost care.

Sanofi was honored for its commitment to supporting numerous AMGA and AMGA Foundation programs, including the national campaign Rise to Immunize™, the Chronic Care Roundtable, and various meetings, including AMGA’s annual conference and regional meetings. Sanofi is also a member of the Chairman’s Circle, which is the highest tier of participation available to AMGA Corporate Partners.

“Sanofi’s support has helped AMGA members to expand their critical work in population health and improving care for patients with chronic conditions, which both are crucial to their success in value-based care models and to providing the best care to their communities,” said Jerry Penso, M.D., M.B.A., AMGA president and CEO. “In particular, their commitment to AMGA’s vaccination initiatives, including Rise to Immunize, have helped medical groups across the country administer thousands of vaccines to their patients. We are deeply appreciative of their support of AMGA, and we look forward to continuing to improve patient care with them into the future.”

“The why behind our work is simple – immunization is the best way to combat public health threats, especially for those living with chronic conditions,” said Courtney Peters, M.B.A., Lead, Public Affairs and Patient Advocacy, U.S. Vaccines, Sanofi. “Our goal with supporting initiatives like Rise to Immunize and the Chronic Care Roundtable are to better support patients living with chronic conditions. While we are honored to have received this award, our work is far from over. We’ll continue to partner with the AMGA to transform the future of health.”

Sanofi received this award at AMGA’s 2022 Annual Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
