Closing the Adolescent Vaccine Gap

During this presentation, The Permanente Medical Group (one of AMGA’s 2024 Acclaim Award finalists) will share how they created an advisory group to design, implement, and measure a new pediatric immunization strategy. The medical group created a new structure across all 50+ medical facilities centering on local clinic-based champions called MD Pediatric Immunization Consultants (MDPIC). MDPICs support performance improvement projects to reach vaccination benchmarks and provide peer-to-peer training on vaccine communication to MD colleagues and staff.
