Medical groups are facing unprecedented challenges with clinic staffing amid the great resignation, fallout from COVID-19, and employee burnout. This has had a significant impact on patient access, operational efficiency, provider support, and overall operations.

Your participation in this year’s survey allows us to compile the most accurate insights into staffing practices and staffing ratios for medical groups, highlighting how organizations are approaching the changing workforce to meet the needs of their patients. These data are a valuable tool for medical groups to remain competitive.

The survey results will explore the following areas:

  • Insights into staffing clinical and operational support structures
  • Staffing metrics by physician, by provider, by productivity, and by visit
  • Advanced practice clinician ratios (per physician)
  • Ratios for key staffing roles, such as medical assistants, RNs, medical reception, and other clinical and operational support
