AI INNOVATION SPOTLIGHT - SESSION DESCRIPTIONS:
Venkat Jaganathan, Chief Product Officer; and Emma Gray, Senior Vice President, Commercial Strategy and Market Leaders, Onpoint Healthcare Partners
Healthcare leaders face growing pressure to streamline operations, reduce clinician burnout, and lower administrative costs. This session introduces the next generation of Onpoint’s Agentic AI Platform—a powerful combination of automation and clinical expertise designed to transform care delivery across the entire patient journey. In just 20 minutes, you’ll see how Agentic AI listens to real-time provider-patient interactions and proactively completes high-value tasks: reconciling medications, processing orders and referrals, managing prior authorizations, finalizing clinical notes, and recommending accurate coding. Presenters will highlight real-world examples of how this technology empowers clinicians, boosts efficiency, and improves care coordination, by reducing the repetitive tasks, bringing meaningful relief for overwhelmed care teams. Whether you’re evaluating AI solutions or optimizing current strategies, this session will offer a forward-looking perspective on how Agentic AI can help healthcare systems deliver smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable care.
Patrick Burton, Senior Vice President, Business Development, Lightbeam Health Solutions
As leading organizations seek to increase their participation and performance in value-based care, many face challenges with respect to operational scalability. Ongoing labor shortages, disjointed workflows, and legacy approaches to managing population health prevent engagement with broader, higher impact, patient panels. In this session, value-based care leaders will learn about practical, AI-driven approaches to stratify modifiable risk, assess individual patient risk drivers, reduce administrative burden, and expand care coordination and management services without additional personnel.
Seth Selkow, Director, Care Connectivity Consortium (CCC) Program & Health Information Exchange (HIE) Engagement, Kaiser Permanente and Interim Executive Director, Care Quality; and Anil Jain, MD, Chief Innovation Officer, Innovaccer
AI is everywhere, but what does it really take to implement it responsibly and at scale ? In this session, Kaiser Permanente and Innovaccer go beyond the hype to share the operational, clinical, and technical foundations required to drive meaningful transformation. Learn how Kaiser Permanente is piloting generative AI for patient messaging and documentation using a phased, clinician-led approach that prioritizes safety, trust, and workflow integration. Their human-in-the-loop model ensures every deployment is governed by readiness, risk, and feedback. Innovaccer complements this with its Gravity platform, an intelligence layer that unifies EMR, CRM, and claims data to power interoperable, compliant AI tools like Provider Copilot. Together, these leaders offer a blueprint for sustainable AI deployment, including readiness frameworks, governance models, and integration strategies. Perfect for CIOs, CMIOs, and digital leaders, this session shows how to move from experimentation to enterprise-wide AI enablement—where innovation meets accountability.
Andrew Lundquist, DPM, MBA, Clinical Director, Nabla; and Chief Medical Officer, Mankato Clinic
As health systems double down on Value-Based Care (VBC) and high value care, leaders face growing pressure to improve outcomes, manage costs, and ease clinician burden. This 20-minute session led by Dr. Lundquist, will explore firsthand insights on using ambient AI tools to reduce administrative workload, enhance record accuracy, and increase time for direct patient care, by using structured, AI-powered documentation. This tool includes quality measure tracking and risk adjustment to care coordination and patient satisfaction. The session will also cover current gaps in AI-enabled workflows and what clinicians need next. Whether you’re implementing ambient AI or exploring its potential, this session offers actionable insights to support tech-enabled VBC success.
Barbara Hodne, DO, Senior Vice President Clinical Support Solutions; and McLain Causey, Vice President, Product, Revenue Optimization, IKS
Sixteen hidden administrative chores quietly drain healthcare performance, but one stands out for its cost, complexity, and impact: patient financial clearance. Manual eligibility checks, authorization delays, and inaccurate estimates don’t just slow access to care. They increase denial rates, frustrate patients, and overburden staff. In this 20-minute session, revenue leaders will see how generative and agentic AI are reshaping financial clearance. These intelligent systems automate repetitive steps, maintain context across workflows, and deliver real-time outputs that support better decisions for both staff and patients. Attendees will also gain a practical framework to address the other fifteen overlooked administrative burdens across the patient journey. Starting with one chore can create momentum to solve the rest. This session is ideal for RCM, clinical, and technology leaders seeking scalable ways to reduce friction, improve efficiency, and refocus resources on patient care.
Dana McCalley, Vice President, Value‑Based Care, Navina
It’s no secret that physicians are overwhelmed. Administrative burdens, EHR complexities, and value-based care requirements make focusing on what matters most—patient care, more challenging. But what if AI could change that? This session will explore how organizations can win physician buy-in, streamline clinical workflows, identify high-risk patients sooner, and improve value-based care performance. Explore real-world strategies and a case study highlighting measurable impact on provider satisfaction and outcomes. AI can be an obstacle or an advantage in value-based care. The choice is yours. Join us and learn how to make AI work for your physicians so they can focus on delivering exceptional care.
