AMGA to Host 2,000+ Healthcare Executives at 2020 Annual Conference
Key Speakers Include Zubin Damania, Peter Diamandis, and Toyin Ajayi

Alexandria, VA – AMGA will host more than 2,000 healthcare leaders at its 2020 Annual Conference, March 25-28 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA. The meeting brings together leaders from medical groups and integrated systems of care from around the country to share best practices and strategies for success in health care.

The three keynote speakers for AMGA’s 2020 Annual Conference will be Zubin “ZDoggMD” Damania, M.D., Peter Diamandis, M.D., and Toyin Ajayi, M.D.

Zubin “ZDogg” Damania, M.D., founder of Turntable Health and clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Nevada Las Vegas’ (UNLV’s) School of Medicine, returns to AMGA’s Annual Conference after a highly rated keynote session in 2019. During his 2019 keynote, Damania introduced attendees to Health 3.0, an approach to healthcare delivery that combines old-fashioned patient-centeredness with modern technological capabilities. This time around, Damania will challenge attendees to change the landscape of health care by putting Health 3.0 into practice within their own medical groups and health systems.

Peter Diamandis, M.D., is the co-founder and executive chairman of Singularity University, and the founder and executive chairman of XPRIZE Foundation. During his future-focused keynote, Diamandis will explore the disruptive impact of innovative technology – such as artificial intelligence, robotics, infinite computing, and synthetic biology – on healthcare products and services, and will endeavor to awaken attendees’ sense of commitment to innovation.

Toyin Ajayi, M.D., is chief health officer and co-founder of Cityblock Health, a New York-based healthcare company radically improving community health “block by block.” Ajayi’s session will focus on Cityblock Health’s unique, community-based model, which works across sectors to connect individuals’ health needs with clinical and non-clinical services capable of meeting those needs.

These keynote speakers will join more than 100 other leaders from the nation’s preeminent medical groups and health systems, who will share groundbreaking strategies and innovations across 40 sessions. The themes of this year’s sessions are:

  • Leadership, Governance, and Culture
  • Technology and Innovation
  • Patient-Centered Care
  • Operations and Finance
