AMGA to Host Healthcare Decision Makers at 2022 Annual Conference

Speakers Include Dr. Craig Samitt, Gen. Stanley McChrystal, Guy Kawasaki, and Robyn Benincasa

Alexandria, VA – AMGA will host its 2022 Annual Conference, March 9-12 at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The meeting brings together leaders from medical groups and integrated systems of care around the country to share best practices and strategies for success in health care.

The four keynote speakers for AMGA’s 2022 Annual Conference will be Craig Samitt, M.D., M.B.A., Guy Kawasaki, Gen. Stanley McChrystal (U.S. Army Ret.), and Robyn Benincasa.

Craig Samitt, M.D., M.B.A., is the CEO and founder of ITO Advisors, LLC. Previously Dr. Samitt served as EVP, chief clinical officer, and president of Anthem's Diversified Business Group, and most recently as president and CEO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. His session will spotlight key healthcare industry trends, like concierge medicine and value-based care.

Guy Kawasaki is chief evangelist at Canva, a former brand ambassador for Mercedes-Benz, and a former chief evangelist at Apple. Kawasaki will share the strategies major retail businesses rely on to build brand loyalty with their customers and will explain how healthcare organizations can leverage them.

Gen. Stanley McChrystal (U.S. Army Ret.) is a former commander of U.S. and International Forces in Afghanistan, bestselling author of Team of Teams and Risk: A User’s Guide, and co-founder of the McChrystal Group. Gen. McChrystal’s session will focus on business risk preparedness.

Robyn Benincasa is a World Champion Eco-Challenge Adventure Racer and New York Times bestselling author. Benincasa will translate what she learned on the trails about team resiliency to the exam rooms, boardrooms, and offices of a medical group.

These plenary session speakers will join more than 100 other leaders from the nation’s preeminent medical groups and health systems, presenting in nearly 40 sessions where they will share their groundbreaking strategies and innovations. Topics covered in sessions include:
