Rheumatoid Arthritis Virtual Discussion Forum
Building on the success from the Best Practices in Managing Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) Learning Collaborative led by the AMGA Foundation and the RA “Treat to Target” research project led by AMGA Analytics, AMGA designed another exciting opportunity for networking and sharing of best practices.
The RA Virtual Discussion Forum was for population health leaders and rheumatologists who want to engage in high-level discussions with peers on successful RA Care models, how to improve patient care, and achieve provider and staff satisfaction.
The RA Virtual Discussion Forum occurred March 25, 2021, and was an invitation-only, 90-minute moderated session hosted by AMGA and sponsored by AbbVie. This forum engaged integrated health systems and medical groups in an interactive roundtable discussion format on RA to explore gaps in care, successful and innovative strategies in identifying patients, patient-centered data collection, clinical workflows, and care pathways.
During AMGA’s Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) Virtual Discussion Forum, seven health systems and medical groups explored gaps of care and strategies in identifying patients, patient-centered data collection, clinical workflows, and care pathways. Attendees included rheumatologists and population health leaders. They detailed successes and challenges in their RA work.
