Pathway to Value

To ensure our healthcare system’s successful transition from volume to value, legislators must address significant obstacles and challenges that exist in the healthcare market. AMGA recommends that Congress require federal and commercial payers to provide access to all administrative claims data to healthcare providers because currently, access to this data often is denied or limited. We also recommend requiring federal and commercial payers and providers to standardize data submission and reporting processes.
