AMGA Consulting Hires New Director, Expands Survey Capabilities
Alexandria VA – Elizabeth Siemsen has joined AMGA Consulting as its newest Director. Ms. Siemsen will aid in the expansion of AMGA Consulting’s services and market data products.
Ms. Siemsen brings over 20 years of leadership experience in medical groups and health systems. She comes to AMGA Consulting from Allina Health, where she served as director of performance & planning for Mercy Hospital and Allina Health’s Northern Region. In this role, she consulted on process improvement and led major projects across the region.
“Liz’s extensive experience with operational planning and performance and her frontline familiarity with health systems and the group practice setting will provide immense value to our clients,” said Fred Horton, M.H.A., AMGA Consulting’s president. “We believe her expertise will enable us to enhance the value of our products, such as the Medical Group Compensation and Productivity Survey, to AMGA members and medical group leaders as they make critical decisions in their transition to a value-based world.”
Prior to her role at Allina Health, Ms. Siemsen served as director of operational planning and performance at HealthEast in St. Paul, where she reported to the CEO of the main tertiary hospital. In her time at HealthEast, she coordinated participation in Action-OI, the national performance improvement database, across the health system.
Ms. Siemsen has completed Six Sigma Green Belt and LEAN training. She holds a B.A. in economics and business from Lafayette College and a Master’s certificate in organizational leadership from St. Catherine University.
