AMGA Foundation Names Christina Santos New Executive Director

Alexandria, VA – AMGA Foundation recently announced the hiring of Christina M. Santos, M.A., as executive director. Santos comes to AMGA Foundation with over 22 years of nonprofit fundraising experience.

As executive director, Santos will oversee AMGA Foundation’s development team to secure funding for all ongoing and future Foundation initiatives, including best practices learning collaboratives, the Acclaim Award, and national campaigns such as Diabetes: Together 2 Goal®.

“Ms. Santos has an impressive background in nonprofit fundraising and a proven track record of turning creative ideas into sustainable programs,” said John Kennedy, M.D., AMGA Foundation president and chief medical officer at AMGA. “We’re excited to see how her ideas translate into greater opportunities for AMGA Foundation to help medical groups and health systems measurably improve the care they deliver and contribute to a healthier America.”

Santos comes to AMGA Foundation from Providence Health Foundation, where she served as director of development and was responsible for raising and stewarding major gifts and executing special initiative campaigns.

She holds a B.A. in International Affairs and an M.A. in Political Management from the George Washington University.
