AMDA- The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine is the only medical specialty society representing the community of  medical directors, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other practitioners working in the various post-acute and long-term care (PALTC) settings. The society promotes and enhances the development of competent, compassionate, and committed medical practitioners and leaders to provide goal-centered care across all post-acute and long-term care settings.

They do this by raising awareness of the critical need for timely immunizations, increasing the public's understanding of vaccines, increasing confidence in the safety of vaccines, ensuring that all families have access to lifesaving vaccines, and advocating for policies that support timely vaccination.
