      Audience

AMGA Accelerator readers are physician executives of all medical disciplines and senior-level administrators who lead medical groups ranging in size from 3 to more than 3,000 physicians. These readers are looking for practical information from their peers that they can apply to their own organizations—information that will help their organizations compete successfully in the business of healthcare delivery.

      Tone

Our readership expects brevity with depth. As such, the tone of submitted content should be authoritative yet approachable, providing concise insights that respect the reader’s time. Focus on relevant details quickly, emphasizing on essential content. Deliver fact-based insights in as few words as necessary to maintain clarity and focus.

      Tips:

      • Lead with the takeaway: Begin with answering the question, “Why does this matter to healthcare leaders right now?”

      • Use clear, precise language: Our readers are fluent in complexity, but they value clarity.

      • Provide credible, verifiable sources: References must be accurate and cited from trusted sources via hyperlinks (where applicable).

      • Prioritize relevance and impact: If the topic doesn’t help our readers lead better, it doesn’t belong.

      • Maintain a professional voice and tone: The tone should be authoritative but approachable, informed but not academic, and neutral rather than promotional.

      General

      • All submissions are subject to editorial review. Edits may be made for clarity, accuracy, or tone. By submitting, you agree to this process.

      • AMGA retains creative control over titling and cover imagery.

      • The use of generative AI in the creation of any manuscript content must be clearly stated in the Acknowledgments section, including details on the manner of generation and the location of such content within the manuscript.
