AMGA Education Mission Statement

AMGA’s Continuing Education Program delivers high-quality learning activities to respond to the educational needs of its Medical Group Members. AMGA strives to educate medical group leaders, physicians and other key players of the care team on valid and independent content that is relevant to their practice and that contributes to improvements to their strategies, skills, and/or performance as healthcare teams.
 
AMGA activities enable participants to share information and innovations in order to remain current and continually improve patient care by advancing medical groups and integrated systems of care to deliver the next level of high-performance health. Participants of AMGA activities are offered the opportunity to apply for continuing education credits to complete their requirements in CME, CPE, and ACHE. Credit particulars can be found within the details of each individual session.

CME Credit for Physicians

AMGA designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 8.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Nurse participants may request CME credit and will be issued a confirmation letter as proof of participation. State boards of nursing have final authority of the acceptance of individual courses for CE credit.

Accreditation Statement: AMGA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CPE Credit for Accountants

Participants of this Group Live program may earn up to 1.2 CPE credits. AMGA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.
 

ACHE Credit for Healthcare Executives

By attending this AMGA program, participants may earn up to 8.75 ACHE Qualified Hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation. Participants in this program who wish to have it considered for ACHE Qualified Education hours should list their attendance when they apply to the American College of Healthcare Executives for advancement or recertification. Participants are responsible for maintaining a record of their ACHE Qualified Education hours.
