FAQs

Are we still planning to be in person?

Yes, AMGA is planning for an in-person AC22 conference. Even with the strain the current Omicron surge places on AMGA members, we continue to hear there is a desire to come together in March. Recognizing the dynamic nature of COVID-19, we’ll be sending out additional conference safety measures as the event approaches. Please continue to monitor this page for updates as well.

What is AMGA doing to ensure health and safety?

  • Vaccine verification required: Proof of vaccination will be required to attend AMGA’s 2022 Annual Conference. You must be fully vaccinated according to CDC guidelines and upload your information to our third-party vendor before picking up your badge in Las Vegas. More details on the verification process will be provided closer to the event.
  • Mask mandate: The State of Nevada has mandated that everyone, including fully vaccinated individuals, wear a mask in public indoor settings, including resorts and casinos, restaurants, bars, showrooms, and meeting spaces. AMGA's 2022 Annual Conference will follow these guidelines and require use of masks in the meeting spaces.
  • Hotel precautions: MGM Resorts has instituted a number of health and safety measures which can be found here.

Is there a virtual option?

AMGA's 2022 conference agenda is designed to be a live, face-to-face event. Understanding that COVID-19 and its variants may be a concern to some of our audience, AMGA will provide post-conference on-demand access to the event content that we have permission to broadcast. All registrants who attend the conference in Las Vegas will receive complimentary access to this content. For those unable to attend, we will have additional information on the conference website about pricing for this virtual option and the dates the content will be available.
