Physician Compensation Plans: Transitions to Team-Based Approaches and Panel Size
Fred Horton, President, AMGA Consulting

As the healthcare industry moves towards value-based care with increasing vigor, many provider organizations are contemplating physician compensation plan redesign to keep pace with market changes. In this presentation, Fred Horton will discuss contemporary approaches to provider compensation plans, including models with team-based measures. He will discuss transitioning from pure productivity models to plans that incorporate salaries or panel size. Using data from AMGA’s Medical Group Compensation and Productivity Surveys, he also will discuss recent trends in advanced practice provider compensation.

Strategies to Maximize Access and Patient Flow
Rose Wagner, R.N., Vice President, AMGA Consulting

In this session, Rose Wagner, R.N., will describe approaches to improve access for patients and promote medical group practice efficiencies, drawing from her operations background and clinical experience. As part of her presentation, she will outline paths to improved patient flow.

Reservations must be made by Monday, May 14 in order to receive the discounted AMGA rate. After this date, rates and availability of rooms cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellations, Refunds, and Substitutions
Members: Cancellations received more than 72 hours in advance and substitutions will not incur any fees. However, no-shows or cancellations within 72 hours will incur a fee of $125.

Non-members: Cancellations must be submitted in writing no later than two weeks prior to the event date in order to receive a refund, less a $75 processing fee. No-shows are not eligible for refunds. Substitutions are welcome and will not incur a processing fee. Cancellations after the date are not eligible for refunds.
