AMGA Initiatives
AMGA continually determines the needs of its member
groups and responds by providing programs and services to meet
those needs, as well as spearheading initiatives to represent their
interests and further the mission of the association.
Anceta: A
comprehensive data warehouse that will provide profound value back to
participating medical groups. Anceta
is the only national effort to collect and share critical information
across non-affiliated medical group organizations.
CAPP: The Council
of Accountable Physician Practices (CAPP) is a joint undertaking
by some of the nation's largest and most prominent physician practices
to foster the evolution and development of the accountable physician
group model.
Leadership
Councils: Special networking groups according to roles within the
member group organization committed to sharing ideas, strategies, and

Medical Liability
Reform: AMGA advocates the enactment of federal
liability reform.
Results-Based
Payment System (RPS)is an initiative to design and implement a
reimbursement system that rewards care quality and results. RPS would
align the positive attributes of the current payment process with a
reimbursement system based on appraisal of quality care and
appropriate outcomes.
Simplifying Initiative:
Simplifying the American
Health Care System is an initiative for physicians and patients to
take back the reins in driving the progress of our health care system.
