AMGA is a pioneer in the measurement of health outcomes and other data for clinical and service quality improvement. To enhance our members’ ability to deliver the highest quality care to their patients, we offer various collaborative research projects and benchmarking programs. Participants have access to timely and relevant data that helps them quantify provider, employee, and patient satisfaction, identify opportunities for improving clinical processes, and distinguish their organizations in the marketplace.

Research
AMGA is dedicated to sharing innovations in patient care. Many of our members are leaders in quality improvement and have developed new tools and programs for improving health outcomes, lowering the cost of care, and increasing patient satisfaction. Through learning collaboratives, best practice compendiums, and other tools, we share those solutions so others may build upon the programs and continue redesigning care processes to better meet the needs of their patients.

Benchmarking
Today, medical groups depend on multiple sources of data to monitor and improve performance. AMGA understands the challenges inherent in mining and reporting data critical to the successful operation of a medical group. By using AMGA’s comprehensive data resources, medical groups are able to benchmark their performance against other groups on both a national and regional level.
