Patient Adherence and Health Literacy
AMGA partnered with Pfizer, Inc. for the 2005 Models of Excellence
Collaborative, a one-year collaborative designed to provide a
shared learning environment in which participants had access to industry
experts and peers through regularly scheduled conference calls,
educational meetings, and site visits.
The ultimate goal of the collaborative was to produce and share
tested tools and strategies with other physician groups nationwide to
advance the quality of care. The collaborative created a working
environment for four grantees (each grantee received $25,000 toward the
development of its proposed program), along with additional invited
organizations, to further help shape, test and provide feedback
collectively about each of the proposed programs
