Quality Management and Research

AMGA’s Department of Quality Management and Research is a pioneer in the health outcomes measurement clinical quality improvement, offering medical groups the opportunity to participate in collaborative research projects in areas of importance to you. As a participant in one of our projects, you will have access to timely and relevant data that will help you quantify employee and patient satisfaction, identify opportunities for improving clinical processes, and distinguish yourself in the marketplace.

Outcomes Data Collection Instruments

Best Practices/Awards: Awards programs including the AMGA Acclaim Award and Models of Excellence Collaborative, Identifying Best Practices in Diabetes Care, Identifying Best Practices in Managing Hypertension.

Patient Safety: A collaborative demonstration project to support improvements in patient safety in the ambulatory care setting.

The Health Buddy Program: A Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) project that will demonstrate how personalized home health monitoring technology can help Medicare patients with severe chronic illness.

Diabetes Risk Model: A model that will improve the care of high-risk diabetes patients.
