2007- 2008 Best Practices in Managing Hypertension Compendium

The American Medical Group Association (AMGA) congratulates this year’s featured Compendium groups who are the recipients of $2500 educational grants to support their quality improvement efforts in hypertension:

  • Cleveland Clinic Medicine Institute, Independence, OH
  • Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington, VT
  • Novant Health/Novant Medical Group, Winston-Salem, NC

The American Medical Group Association (AMGA) COMPENDIUM OF BEST PRACTICES IN MANAGING HYPERTENSION is a living document, which is updated as new evidence of best practices becomes available from medical practices and academic centers.

Medical groups, IPAs, academic practices, and integrated delivery systems that have successfully incorporated the management of hypertension into their chronic care models were encouraged to submit case studies.

These featured compendium groups will be announced at the AMGA 2008 Annual Conference, March 6-8, 2008 in Orlando, Florida.

If you have questions or need more information about the Compendium or Learning Collaborative, contact Danielle Flowers at (703) 838-0033, ext. 347 or dflowers@amga.org.

The Best Practices in Managing Hypertension Compendium and Learning Collaborative are made possible through the support of an educational grant from Daiichi Sankyo, Inc.
