Position: Associate Medical Director for Quality and Patient Safety

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group in Atlanta is seeking an Associate Medical Director for Quality and Patient Safety.

Located in attractive Buckhead, the Associate Medical Director is responsible for establishing and implementing the strategic vision for quality and patient safety within the medical group. You will lead initiatives to foster a collaborative environment that supports unified goals for service, quality of care, patient safety and affordability across the organization. Along with your internal responsibilities, this role will provide physician leadership for response to external regulators and accreditation organizations as well as participation with state and/or national quality organizations, local employers and the media.

The successful candidate should be a physician board certified in his/her specialty with 5+ years of leadership experience and currently holding a senior role within a large, multi-specialty medical group. You will bring an influential and inspirational leadership style along with a track record of success in quality and patient safety initiatives. Advanced degree (MBA, MHA) is preferred.
