
Position: Medical Director of Cardiac & Vascular Institute

Memorial Healthcare System, conveniently located between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, in Hollywood, Florida, is seeking a Medical Director of the Memorial Cardiac & Vascular Institute to lead their established program. The successful candidate should be a cardiac surgeon certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and Fellowship trained. 5+ years of proven leadership experience with the ability to communicate and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary program that includes clinical and interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, and diagnostic cardiac imaging. You will bring an established record of excellence with complex cardiac cases, including minimally invasive valve surgery and endovascular procedures. Clinical research is strongly encouraged. Spanish language skills are also a plus for this role.
In addition to your cardiac surgery responsibilities, you will provide vision, oversight and direction for physicians as the service lines experiences continued growth. Work with leaders and administration to develop and/or implement policies and procedures guiding efficient operations, quality patient care delivery and outcomes, positive provider and staff relations and more.
