Position: Chief Financial Officer

Banner Medical Group Phoenix, AZ

Banner Health, Arizona's largest healthcare provider is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. This position, while supporting Banner Health as a system, will be located at Banner Medical Group in Phoenix, Arizona. Banner Medical Group has 550 employed physicians across seven states.

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for planning, directing and actively evaluating operations to ensure that they meet these dual goals of quality and operating performance. Serving as a top advisor to corporate and business unit senior leadership on matters relating to operating strategies and financial outcomes is a key part of this role. One must possess the ability to work collaboratively with all regional leadership teams and with senior management members to ensure organization goals and efforts are supportive of regional objectives and vice versa.

The ideal candidate will be creative with impeccable integrity and have the ability to develop trusting relationships with our Physicians and Senior Executives. The Chief Financial Officer's role involves thinking strategically and operationally while collaborating effectively with the various components involved with Banner Health as a system. Superb presentation and negotiation skills will be a plus.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or the equivalent (Master's degree preferred).
Seven years of progressive executive leadership or consultation experience in a large complex environment.
Five years of solid physician practice management experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
