Position: Vice President of Operations, Mercy Physicians Clinic
Mercy Physicians Clinic, part of Sisters of Mercy Health System which operates in a seven state area with 18 acute care hospitals and 4,000 physicians, seeks a Vice President of Operations for one of their multi-specialty group practice sites.
The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for infrastructure improvement, overall fiscal success, geographic expansion, and future acquisition. Strong communication skills and the ability to gain the confidence of physicians are key to the success of this role. This position is located in a Mid/southwestern town situated only one hour from a major metropolitan area.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree, Masters degree in Healthcare Administration or Business preferred.
- Five to ten years progressive leadership experience overseeing a physician group is essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience running a successful physician group practice while increasing volume and growing market share.
