Position: Director of Finance, Physician Practice Leadership

Trinity Heath, in Novi, Michigan (www.trinity-health.org) has retained The Gammill Group to conduct an executive search for a Director of Finance, Physician Practice Leadership.

Trinity Health currently has 47 hospitals, 379 outpatient clinics/facilities, 33 long-term care facilities, numerous home health and hospice programs, and senior housing communities in nine states. They have an employee population exceeding 47,000, net revenues of $7 billion, and nearly $400 million in community benefit ministry.

This "newly created" position is to be the home office financial leader to support the Unified Enterprise Ministry (UEM) "aligned physicians" including primary care and specialty physicians who are employed (currently 800+), contracted, in clinical co-management agreements, and in private practice. This person will be the domain expert and leader in physician practice financial operations, and be the lead in the assessment, evaluation, and selection of the financial systems that will build to "Best-in-Class". Some Key Knowledge and Experiences:

Very strong financial operations experience in a large multi-specialty group practice.
Very strong understanding of the financial reporting systems that exist in the marketplace, as he/she will lead the evaluation and selection process for this key area.
The ability to work with others to build the roadmap/game plan toward "Best-in-Class"
Solid experience and understanding of business planning/development and the payer market.
Very strong process and operations improvement experience.
Experience in providing support for physician acquisitions would be a plus.
Experience within a health system would be a plus.
