Position: Clinic Administrator - Ballard

Swedish Physicians Division (SPD) is actively seeking a Clinic Administrator for our Ballard Primary Care Clinic. SPD, a network of 14 primary-care clinics owned by Swedish Medical Center, has a long history of providing excellent health care throughout Greater Seattle and on the Eastside. It includes more than 100 board-certified physicians, advanced registered nurse practitioners and physician assistants who are available to take care of you when you're sick, work with you to stay healthy, and help with your entire family's health needs.

The Clinic Administrator key duties and responsibilities are:

Coordinate clinic operations and activities with the Clinic Medical Director to ensure efficiency and quality service is delivered within all sections of the clinic.
Monitor overall performance of the clinic-budgets, customer service, patient and staff satisfaction
Supervise clinic staff, including department supervisors and operations coordinators, providing selection, training, disciplining, terminating, and performance improvement. Mentor staff on issues arising from day-to-day operations.
Develop, recommend and implement strategic planning as it relates to the clinic, the region, and the SPD network.
Create, recommend and implement new clinic programs to increase and maintain patient volume and satisfaction.
Participates with top management team in formulating, administering and evaluating organizational strategy and policy
Maintain current knowledge in the field of ambulatory care clinics.

A BA/BS in a health-related or business field is required - master's degree preferred. A competitive candidate will have a clinical background, a minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibility in a hospital or ambulatory clinic setting and 3-5 years of management experience.
