Position: Clinic Manager

The Clinic is a large multi-specialty healthcare organization located in Washington, across the river from Portland, Oregon. The Clinic has over 200 providers that serve the healthcare needs of the greater Vancouver area.

We are looking for a Clinic Manager who will help us prepare for the future, while maintaining the best of our past. The manager will work through supervisory staff to oversee the daily operations of specialty departments such as ENT, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Surgery, Urology and a Special Procedure Suite. Duties include:

Develop department business objectives while working with physician leaders to achieve goals. Develop structure, process and oversight for department operations.
Serve as a primary liaison between patients, staff and providers.
Create and monitor department budgets and key performance indicators.
Act as a catalyst for change to support new initiatives. Develop a deep understanding of department operations in order to promote change.

A successful candidate will have approximately 5 yrs of previous medical or healthcare background, preferably in one or more of the departments noted above in an ambulatory care setting. The individual must have proven supervisory and leadership skills to manage administrative as well as clinical employees. The successful candidate must possess basic knowledge of accounting, purchasing, recruiting, staff development, and employment law.
