Position: Administrator, Dept and Clinical Ops - Orthopaedics

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking an Administrator, Department and Clinic Operations - Orthopaedics. This highly visible executive position will partner with the Chairman, Orthopedics to develop the vision and strategic plan for the Department of Orthopaedics. The position will provide seasoned administrative, fiscal and operational leadership for the support of clinical service, research, and educational objectives.

Vanderbilt Orthopaedics currently has over 50 full-time physicians and 10 departments. With state of the art care and technology, Vanderbilt Orthopaedics treats over 110,000 patients annually at their locations which include Nashville, Franklin TN, Mt. Juliet TN, Paducah and Murray, KY.

The successful candidate will offer:

Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in a relevant discipline are required.
Minimum of ten years leadership experience, ideally within a complex, high volume surgical practice, required.
Demonstrated record of accomplishment in:
- patient/customer satisfaction,
- financial analysis and management ability, and
- building and retaining cohesive teams.
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
Demonstrated track record of effectively working with physicians is essential.
