Position: Revenue Cycle Director

This is an exciting opportunity to serve in a leadership role for the development of a new medical foundation being formed in Northern California. The Foundation will be developed through the integration of several medical practices.

The Foundation is seeking a Revenue Cycle Director who will be responsible for integration of revenue cycle systems from multiple groups and will oversee all professional billing and collections activities, including all administrative and clinical functions that contribute to the capture, management and collection of patient service revenue across several medical groups for the new foundation. As a key member of the executive team, you will enhance and monitor billing and collection procedures/systems, supervise all activities of the billing office to maximize cash flow while maintaining compliance and work in partnership with other organizations to ensure a smooth and cost efficient flow of revenue activities. Additionally, you will be tasked with achieving annual and periodic goals for significant statistical indicators of revenue cycle performance such as days in AR, net collection ratio, net revenue per RVU or encounter and for the organization's overall financial performance, as well as overseeing the provider credentialing function.

We require a Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Health or Public Administration, Management or a related field), demonstrated knowledge of medical billing software (EMR a plus), ability to analyze and resolve problems that affect the claim submission process, and excellent communication, management and customer service skills. In addition to strong people skills, must have significant experience with and current knowledge of patient registration, billing, AR and cash management requirements, managed care contractual terms and requirements, health insurance practices, industry regulatory requirements, business office operations, AR and financial reporting technology, basic accounting, professional services coding compliance regulations/requirements, and industry standards for healthcare revenue resolution management practices.
