Position: Director of Multispecialty Clinics
B. E. Smith, Inc. has been retained by Alaska Native Medical Center to
conduct the search for their new Director of Multispecialty Clinics.
Position Focus
- Standardize
operations to bring the physician clinics to a
contemporary model utilizing best practices
- Support Service
Chiefs for each surgical specialty in the
management of the clinics including human
resources, program development, capital
equipment purchasing and financial management
- Collaborate with
physician leaders, as well as clinic staff to
elevate the practice while maintaining high
patient satisfaction
- Participate in a new
medical office building development project for
a 60,000 to 80,000 square foot facility
Organization
- The Alaska Tribal
Health System is a voluntary affiliation of over
30 Alaskan tribes and tribal organizations
providing health services to Alaska
Natives/American Indians
- Alaska Native Medical
Center is a 150-bed, Magnet designated, tribally
owned and operated healthcare facility that
provides a full range of services to eligible
Alaska Natives and American Indians
- Full-service
emergency department certified as the only Level
II Trauma Center in the state of Alaska
- Has an innovative
primary care model, that supports customer
choice while building relationship-based,
family-centered care

for the last two years

Qualifications
- Master's degree is
required
- 10 years of direct
physician clinic operations experience
- Candidates must be
financially astute with a solid business acumen
- Well-versed in
utilizing various information systems; EHR
implementation experience a plus
- Strong understanding
of process improvement methodologies and
productivity measures
