Southern Regional Meetings - Texas

Creating High-Performing Care Organizations
Journey to an Accountable Care Organization

2010 Southern Regional Meeting - Texas
May 13-14, 2010

Hosted by Kelsey Seybold Clinic
Supported by
Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals & CodeRyte.

AMGA is bringing together high-performing healthcare delivery systems to educate medical group leaders on how an accountable care organization (ACO) is defined and how medical groups can become one.  The series of regional meetings will feature innovators from our membership presenting their case studies and will culminate in the fall at AMGA’s Institute for Quality Leadership, subtitled the “AMGA National Summit on ACOs.”

These meetings will address topics such as implementing care coordination best practices, aligning governance, structure, and incentives, and establishing performance improvement, measurement, and monitoring systems to become a high-performing care organization that could qualify as an ACO.
