Creating High-Performing Care Organizations
Journey to an Accountable Care Organization

2010 Rocky Mountain Regional Meeting
Salt Lake City, Utah
June 17-18, 2010

Hosted by Intermountain Health Care
Supported by Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and CodeRyte

This meeting is part of AMGA’s series of meetings focusing on the “Journey to an Accountable Care Organization (ACO).” At these meetings, AMGA will bring together the leaders of high-performing healthcare delivery systems to present their case studies and educate medical group leaders on how an accountable care organization (ACO) is defined and how your medical group can become one. The series culminates at the Institute for Quality Leadership, the National ACO Summit, Sept. 29 - Oct 1, 2010, in Florida.

For this meeting, we are pleased to have AMGA’s President and CEO, Don Fisher, keynote the meeting by taking us on a journey of creating high-performing systems of care.  Don’s presentation will be followed by presentations from three leaders in ACO development in the Rocky Mountain Region. These groups will discuss their experiences in creating accountable care organizations, including implementing best practices, aligning governance, structures, and incentives, and establishing performance improvement, measurement, and monitoring systems.
