Institute for Quality Leadership Annual Meeting
September 24-27, 2008
The Adolphus, A Noble House Hotel
Dallas, Texas

Confirmed 2008 Exhibitors

The American Medical Group Association invites you to take advantage of exclusive sponsorship/exhibitor opportunities at the upcoming AMGA Institute for Quality Leadership Annual Conference, September 24-27, 2008 at The Adolphus, A Noble House Hotel in Dallas, Texas. An exclusive cohort of medical group decision-makers from across the country will gather in Dallas for networking and shared learning. These individuals are accountable for the quality of care delivered by their organizations—Chief Executive Officers, Medical Directors and Chief Medical Officers, Quality Improvement Directors and Quality Officers, and Governing Board Members.

This intimate gathering will offer contributors valuable networking opportunities with some of the most influential leaders in the field of healthcare quality improvement. To maximize your contact with these individuals, we are offering a limited number of sponsorships/exhibit opportunities, and we urge you to secure your place as soon as possible.

The focus of this year’s meeting is “Transforming Systems of Care.” As the 2008 elections loom, every candidate is talking about changing the healthcare system. However, if one listens carefully, most of the debate is superficial. Whether the recommendation is incremental change or sweeping changes that provide universal coverage, this debate still misses the real issue: Despite decades of efforts to change the US healthcare system, it is still not working!

What needs to be brought to this debate is a serious consideration of how to revolutionize the way we organize and deliver care so that all Americans receive the right care at the right time. This will take courage and willingness on the part of all stakeholders to embark on monumental, not incremental change.

To further this dialogue, the 2008 Institute for Quality Leadership (IQL) will explore concrete ways of transforming healthcare delivery.

Find out how your organization can assist medical groups on their journey of transforming systems of care, introduce them to your products and services, and meet the leaders who will make decisions for their organizations about partnerships with vendor organizations in the quality arena.

In addition, AMGA has an opportunity for one organization to become the Platinum Host of the AMGA Leadership Councils meetings, which will be held just prior to the Institute for Quality Leadership Annual Conference on Wednesday, September 24 and Thursday, September 25, 2008. The AMGA Leadership Councils are networks of individuals in leadership positions within their medical groups. The following councils will be meeting: CMO/Medical Director, and the Quality Improvement Directors/Officers. As the Platinum Host, you will participate at the various meal functions during the council meetings, offer a short introduction about your organization, and receive recognition as the host of the AMGA Leadership Councils.
