Reception for AMGA Board and Leadership Councils

Following a day of meetings, the Leadership Councils will gather for cocktails, refreshments, and conversation with colleagues on the AMGA Board.

AMGA Golf Classic at English Turn

This annual event will be hosted at the English Turn, New Orleans’ premier 18-hole PGA Tour stop, designed by Jack Nicklaus and home of the 2006 Zurich Classic PGA Tournament. The highly manicured greens, meandering lakes, and magnificent plantation-style clubhouse make golfing at English Turn a matchless experience.  Each English Turn hole has its own personality. The greens are notoriously undulating, challenging yet fair for the club member and pros alike.  The famed 18th hole at English Turn has been consistently rated one of the most challenging on the PGA Tour.

Welcome Reception in Exhibit Hall

AMGA will formally welcome conference attendees during a lively cocktail reception in the Exhibit Hall. Join your colleagues and peers while strolling through the hall for an enjoyable evening with our conference supporters.

These popular and informative sessions will allow you to participate in lively and unstructured discussions, share common experiences, and find new solutions to tough issues you deal with every day. Sessions will be organized by group type and size.

Happy Hour in Exhibit Hall

Join your colleagues, peers, and conference supporters for a cocktail and snack in the Exhibit Hall before heading out to experience the outstanding cuisine New Orleans has to offer.

Farewell to Exhibitors Networking Breakfast

Attendees can enjoy a casual, free-flowing networking breakfast that provides an opportunity to catch up with colleagues on their experiences at the conference while visiting with the conference supporters and exhibitors.

12:15 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.
Networking Lunch with Special Guest Speaker: Kenneth Novack

Join your colleagues and peers for a luncheon and free-flowing conversation, highlighted by a presentation from Kenneth Novack, retired vice chairman of Time Warner, who previously served as the vice chairman of America Online, who will share his passion for applying advances in information technology to healthcare, and explain how the intersection of the two fields can yield transformational improvements in both patient care and resource utilization.

7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Saturday Evening Reception and Dinner Event with the Passing Zone

Immediately following the closing dinner, the Passing Zone will captivate, entertain, and inspire you with an unbelievable act that will leave you talking and laughing long after you’ve left New Orleans. The Passing Zone has won 18 gold medals from the International Jugglers Association, holds five Guinness World Records, was one of the 10 finalists in the debut season of America’s Got Talent and has entertained at the Royal Command performance for England’s Prince Charles. This dynamic juggling duo regularly performs for top corporations across the U.S., incorporating the skills of their craft with leadership lessons that stress the benefits and importance of teamwork.
