The deadline for submitting proposals for AMGA’s 2010 Annual Conference is Wednesday, July 8, 2009 (5:00 p.m. EST). Submissions received after this deadline will not be considered for evaluation.
The American Medical Group Association is currently seeking dynamic, innovative, and original presentations from healthcare leaders for our 2010 Annual Conference: Learning from the Best!, March 18-20, 2010 at New Orleans Marriott in New Orleans, Louisiana. What makes the sessions at AMGA’s Annual Conference so consistently compelling is our dedication to showcasing real-life experiences of the AMGA member medical group community. In keeping with this tradition, AMGA is hoping you have a story you want to relate “member-to-member,” to share not only what you did, but how you did it.
Over the years, AMGA has been able to feature top-notch presenters
from America’s leading healthcare organizations, sharing their insights
and strategies with peers in the industry. The quality and relevance of
these speakers are evidenced by the expanding number of enthusiastic
attendees at the conference. In addition to being featured on an
exciting program alongside these visionary leaders, conference
presenters are eligible to receive the following:
If you have a success story, don’t be modest about promoting yourself and the initiatives of your group. Proudly share with other AMGA members innovations at your medical group. If you have had a less-than-successful undertaking, be honest about your hard-won lessons so that your peers can learn from your experiences. In addition, we invite our corporate partners to present with their medical group clients, giving conference attendees a true-to-life view of partnerships developed to address current issues and find solutions!

AMGA Education Department Mission Statement
The American Medical Group Association’s continuing medical education
program develops high quality learning activities to respond to the
educational needs of group practice physicians in leadership positions.
The Association’s continuing medical education activities enable its
members to share information and innovations in order to remain current
and continually improve patient care by advancing the group practice
model as the preferred method of health care delivery. The Association
accomplishes this goal by offering timely, unparalleled learning
activities including an annual conference, regional meetings and
distance learning tools.
