The American Medical Group Association (AMGA) and Phytel formed a collaboration aimed at helping physicians proactively manage preventive health and disease management protocols. This collaboration makes Phytel the newest member of the AMGA Value-Added Services Program and provides AMGA members with access to Phytel solutions at preferred pricing.

Phytel’s unique services actively implements quality standards both inside and outside of the practice walls, while strengthening the physician-patient relationship. Phytel’s state-of-the-art registry uses evidence-based disease management and preventive care protocols to identify patients that are due for service. Phytel automatically notifies patients of needed care and tracks patients for compliance, while measuring quality and financial results.

How can implementing this solution benefit your practice?

Holzer clinic implemented Phytel’s solution to increase patient compliance with care plans, facilitate participation in P4P, and reduce costs associated with Patient no-shows. Since implementation, they have seen no show rates drop .5%, increased patient visits, increased productivity, and a 900% return on investment.
Leaders at Prevea Health had been struggling to improve its quality program for several years. They implemented Phytel’s Proactive Patient Outreach solution and, according to Ashok Rai, MD, the group’s CEO, added over $1 million in net revenue by getting patients to come in for preventive and follow up care they probably would not have otherwise received.
