AMGA’s past Presidents and Board Chairs are invited to attend this special
dinner event with the current AMGA Board of Directors. Details about the venue

Community Outreach Activity: Weekend Food Backpacks
Thursday, March 28
In the United States, more than one out of six children live in a food
insecure household, which means they do not always know where they’ll find their
next meal. Hunger has a negative effect on children’s ability to learn, and on
their overall health, leading to developmental delays and challenges that will
follow them into adulthood. As a means to help alleviate food insecurity, AMGA
is partnering with a local charity that will provide weekend food to children
and families, so they can return to school on Monday prepared for success.
AMGA conference attendees are invited to support this charity event
by spending time assembling these care

Membership Development Reception
Thursday, March 28, 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. (Invitation Only)
Each year, AMGA brings together new AMGA members, first-time attendees, and
healthcare leaders who want to learn how to maximize their membership in a
casual meet-and-greet setting. During this intimate reception, you’ll be
introduced to AMGA’s Board members and key AMGA staff who will help you leverage
your membership to advance your organization’s goals.
Emerging Leaders Evening Networking Event

Emerging leaders from AMGA member medical groups and health systems are
invited to participate in an after-hours activity to foster networking, team

Capitol Club Reception

AMGA Foundation Celebration
Friday, March 29, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Invitation Only)
During this evening
reception, AMGA Foundation will celebrate our members and supporters, highlight our efforts
to improve health care in America, and provide an opportunity to become more
involved in the Campaign for a Healthier America.
Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30
AAMGA will coordinate special activities for spouses/guests visiting National
Harbor while attendees are participating in the conference sessions. An
additional fee is required to participate in these activities. Participation is
limited to adults 21 and older. Transportation will be provided to and from
National Harbor for Topgolf and Mount Vernon (included in activity fees).
- Spouse/Guest Fee: Purchasing the spouse/guest fee
provides entry to our welcome reception for spouses/guests on Thursday, March 28
as well as meals and receptions in the exhibit hall on Friday, March 29 and
Saturday March 30.
- Topgolf (Friday, March 29, 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.): Hit the driving range with fellow spouses and guests.
Topgolf offers fun point-scoring golf games for all skill levels, upscale bar
food and drinks, great music, and more!
- Mount Vernon (Saturday, March 30, 11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.): George Washington's Mount Vernon Mansion is
one of the most iconic historic homes in America. Tour the estate, situated on
the banks of the Potomac River.

Following our dynamic closing general session on Saturday, join us for a
farewell reception! Enjoy food and drinks with a California-cuisine theme,
building the excitement for our 2020 Annual Conference in San Diego, March 25-28.
